Trust Structure
Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust prides itself on having sustained good working relationships between clinical staff and managers over a number of years, resulting in high levels of performance.
During 2005/06 we developed this further by the introduction of our new structure of four Clinical Care Groups, which were designed to engage more clinicians in management roles across the Trust. There was enthusiastic participation in selection of the speciality lead clinician positions across the organisation.
Over several months from January 2006, our Future Services Strategy has been developed with widespread participation from clinicians, who have worked alongside Trust Board members and other senior managers to determine priorities.
