The Medical Photography service at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides a county-wide medical photography/ophthalmic photography service to Poole, Bournemouth and Dorchester hospitals.
The main service in Poole provides both clinical photography and video production to departments across the Trusts, covering all specialties. All work is undertaken by trained staff who have a high regard for the quality of clinical images and an understanding of confidentiality issues.
Clinical images are used for diagnosis, assessment and the ongoing treatment of both inpatients and outpatients. Images used for clinical teaching/education may only be used if the proper level of consent has been granted.
