Volunteers at Poole Hospital

Volunteer welcoming patients and visitors to Poole Hospital

Are you interested in becoming a Poole Hospital Volunteer?

All of us at some time have been able to help others and know the personal satisfaction to be gained in this way.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at Poole Hospital you would be joining a large number of people who give some of their spare time to help provide additional services and benefits for our patients.

Typical duties of a Poole Hospital volunteer are:
Being prepared to talk to patients and provide a listening ear.

In addition to volunteering on the wards there is also a possibility of volunteering in the Shop and also in the Main Reception area to meet and greet patients.

The time that volunteers typically give is 3 hours a week up to one or two days per week on a regular basis.

If you are interested in finding out more about being a volunteer then please contact Joy Janati on ext 8610 (01202-448610) or on e-mail on joy.janati@poole.nhs.uk.
